Lessons
Maple Leaf Stables has been providing quality western riding lessons, beginner through advanced, for over 20 years. With an emphasis on safety and horse handling, our qualified instructors will provide you with an enjoyable learning experience. Bring your own horse and use one of our well-trained lesson horses.
Introduction to Horses
2 Horses minimum – up to 4 horses
- 1 – 2 riders: $50.00
- 3 – 4 riders: $40.00
An introduction to the joys of horses, geared towards beginners who may be interested in owning their own horse. You will be instructed in safe handling, grooming, equipment, nutrition and basic health care, including farrier service, vaccinations and worming schedules.
Basic First Aid
- 1 – 2 people: $45.00
- 3 and up: $35.00
Basic first aid and identifying illnesses will be discussed. Preventative health care, when to call the vet and what should be in your first aid kit.
Summer Mini Camps
- Horse care and riding: $120.00
Small groups for a 4 hour session will handle, groom, tack and ride. Available for all levels of riders, arrange for your convenience, book by the day, week or month.
Lessons
- Kids private lessons: $35.00 for ½ hour, $50.00 for 1 hour
- Adult private lessons: $50.00 for 1 hour
- Adult group lessons: $45.00 for 1 hour (2 or more riders)
- Specialty rides/Visitors: same rates apply
